Latham’s Children’s Program Halloween Parade
October 27, 2016
Yesterday you heard how the adults in our program were celebrating Halloween, now it’s time to hear about the Children’s program, and how they’re celebrating!
Annually the students and staff have a Halloween Parade. All the students dress up, as do many of the staff. (Take a look at the photos from 2015!) Staff volunteers come to campus and hand out minimal amounts of candy, as well as toys, so that the students can still celebrate the holiday in a “traditional” way.
Students can wear their costume throughout the day, and tend to put their masks and face paint on after lunch! Going around campus to different locations, they interact and mingle with staff and friends alike. Thank you to the children’s staff for hosting this ‘spook’tacular event!
