Fall Gardening on Latham Campus: Agway Herb Garden

Here at Latham in the vocational department we have been busy all summer with attending our Agway Herb Gardens! In our gardens we have lavender, chamomile, rosemary, mint, basil, milkweed, and marigolds. In the beginning we were busy roto-tilling and weeding our garden soil for some new herbs. Next we planted some new herbs which including mint, basil, and milkweed. We also had to weed our garden that had our existing herbs. Throughout the entire summer we always made sure we watered our gardens especially during our hot summer days. 

Now that summer is coming to an end we have been busy gathering some of our herbs to help us make some exciting fall and winter projects for when we can’t be outside!
