At Latham Centers we have started a new residential vocational experimental learning program called the Circle of Growing. Students, staff, and many different departments of Latham Centers were involved in this endeavor.
It all started with a quick spring cleaning of the greenhouse by staff, students, and three community volunteers. Next, Agway donated  lavender, rosemary, chamomile, and marigolds. Each of these plants are soothing for our individuals due to their relaxing and soothing qualities, and the herbs are to be used in our soap line as well. The end result: The Agway Herbal Garden!
Herbalists have come to campus and are planning on coming to campus as the garden grows. What a great opportunity for our students on campus while involving community members!
