Donkeys-For-Good: It’s a Donkey Wedding and the pleasure of your company is requested

Esther and Esau will soon be “getting hitched.” On Valentine’s Day, two of Latham’s miniature therapy donkeys got engaged, and a fantastic celebration is in the works. On the afternoon of Saturday, May 11, 2019, at the Taylor-Bray Farm in Yarmouth Port, we invite you to join us for a beautiful seaside wedding ceremony followed by an unforgettable reception. Guests will have an opportunity to visit with Esther and Esau who will be decked out in their wedding day finery. The other Taylor-Bray Farm animals will be there to celebrate, including three baby lambs born this month. Animal lovers will want to be sure to mark their calendars.

A delicious selection of hors d’oeuvres will be provided by Luciano’s Restaurant of Attleboro. Guests will be treated to scrumptious wedding cake provided by The Bashful Tarte, soft drinks and a champagne toast (wine in commemorative glasses will be for sale at the bar).

Guests will enjoy kicking up their heels to the live music, and family photos at this gorgeous Black Flats Marsh setting will be available by Denise Pressman of Fleeting Moments Photography. There will be a silent auction featuring a one-of-a-kind trip donated by Susan Peavey Travel; Red Sox Tickets; and a one-week stay at a well-appointed Cape Cod vacation home (in East Dennis) that sleeps 13. (More details on the auction will follow in a future post.)

Visit https://www.lathamcenters.org/donkeys-for-good/ for information about sponsorship opportunities, or to purchase tickets and view Esther and Esau’s gift registry. Tickets are $25 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under . Beginning April 1st, tickets can also be purchased at all Cape Agway stores. Thank you to our event sponsors (as of 3/19/19): Agway of Cape Cod, The Bashful Tarte, Luciano’s Restaurant, Fleeting Moments Photography, Susan Peavey Travel, Shorefront Consulting, and Ocean Edge Resort and Golf Club.

We truly look forward to the pleasure of your company!
