August Staff of the Month: Scott Beauregard and Melanie Mimmo

Today we recognize our final two staff members nominated by their colleagues for the honor of August Staff of the Month – Scott Beauregard (Awake Overnight Child Care Worker) and Melanie Mimmo (RN, Children’s Program). Excerpts from colleagues and student messages of gratitude follow:

Congrats to Scott on Staff of the Month! He’s an awesome overnight staff. He’s so friendly with the kids and the kids respect him and love when he’s working. He’s very helpful when the kids are doing the morning time routines. I appreciate you.

Scott, we want to thank you for always being consistent, understanding the students’ needs, and never leaving before everything is ready to go. Big shout-out to you, Scott. Thank you.

Every time I see Scott he has a smile on his face or is saying something positive. The kids look up to him and he is so great with them.

Anytime I see Melanie she is always calm, always has a smile, and is a team player. Thank you for coming back to us Melanie.

Melanie, you deserve staff of the month because your communication is always so on-point.

Melanie has been a go-to person for me on so many occasions. Her demeanor is so welcoming and friendly and calm – it just makes everyone feel good.

Melanie goes above and beyond to help the students at Latham, but also to support the staff with whatever they need. Her compassion, optimism and kindness does not go unnoticed. We appreciate everything you do for Latham.
