About PWS

PWS is a complex syndrome that manifests with severe, idiosyncratic symptoms including insatiable appetite, mild to moderate developmental delays, emotional and behavioral problems, obsessive compulsive behaviors, and slow body metabolism. The syndrome occurs once in about every 12,000 – 15,000 births on average, and is found in all races and ethnic groups. One child is born every day in the U.S. with PWS.

Latham Centers provides residential programming for developmentally disabled adults aged 21 and older who need individualized supports in a community-based, residential environment. Housing

Latham Centers maintains group homes in local residential neighborhoods throughout Cape Cod and Southeastern Massachusetts, close to work sites and social, recreational, and healthcare resources. Staff members provide residents with the necessary supports to attend school, work, and activities in the community.
