Words of thanks to our Last Gasp team

Our Last Gasp “Team Latham” biked 62 miles yesterday, from Sandwich to Provincetown, to raise funds for Latham Centers. We’d like to share the words of thanks from our Director of Development, Heather Kelsey, who was one of our “everyday heroes” who trained and fundraised along with her teammates for this exceptional 27th riding of the Last Gasp “Bike, Boat, ‘N Bake”:
“On behalf of Latham Centers, I want to thank you all for supporting our organization and the children and adults we serve through your participation in The Last Gasp. It was a beautiful day and it was wonderful to have the chance to spend it with all of you. Thank you for taking the time to fundraise and train for the ride. Thank you for helping to spread the word about Latham Centers and the important work that we do. Latham’s 2018 Last Gasp team has raised $11,810 to date to support the capital campaign for the new Latham Community Center! I hope to welcome all of you back for next year’s ride! Thank you for the gift of your time and for your effort and enthusiasm!”

Team Latham would like to thank the many people who cheered them on along Route 6A, the volunteers who made the Cape Cod Charitable FunRaisers event so successful, and ESPECIALLY the friends, family members, and community businesses who so generously donated and sent messages of encouragement!
