Vicki Dunnington joins Latham Board of Directors

We’d like to welcome back Vicki Dunnington, the newest member of Latham Centers’ Board of Directors! Vicki served on Latham’s Board from 2012-2014 but stepped down when she moved from the Cape area to Utah to be closer to family. Since moving back to the Boston area, she has enthusiastically returned to the Board.

Vicki currently lives in Winchester, Massachusetts and works as a private direct caregiver for an elderly patient. Her background is primarily in the food industry, successfully owning and operating a catering company in this area for 10 years and spending her time in Utah as Executive Director of Food and Beverage for a 2,500-seat Broadway theater in Salt Lake City. Vicki said she’s so happy to be a part of the Latham community again. “I was so incredibly impressed with the work of this organization when I was first introduced to it back in 2012. The entire team is dedicated, bright, positive, and forward thinking. I believe strongly that those of us with privilege should help and give back to those who need help…I’m a born caregiver, hence the career in food service and elder care.”

Vicki joins current Latham Centers board members who work with our senior management team in an advisory, advocacy, fundraising, and fiduciary role. Other volunteer board members include: Christine Gillstrom Burgess (Chair) of Dennis; Christine Thomas, MD, (Vice Chair) of Reading; Jack Kelly (Treasurer) of Yarmouth Port; Keith Bradley (Clerk), of Chatham; Frank Burgess of Brewster; Dan Chamberlain, Esq. of Dennis; Stephen Drowne of Dennis; Kathryn Earle of Cohasset; Mary Pat Messmer of Centerville; Robert Newman of Plymouth; Todd Squire of Orleans; Tyler Eldredge of Yarmouth Port; Matt McCleery of Chatham; and Leslie Watt of Sandwich. In welcoming Ms. Dunnington, Board Chair Chris Gillstrom Burgess expressed Latham’s sincere appreciation to outgoing Board members Bonnie Ellis of Marstons Mills and Jeff Cotto of Centerville for their service.
