Turning National Parents’ Day into National Parents’ Week: Post 1

Sunday, July 25, 2021, was National Parents’ Day! Our first of two video greetings from students sends the message of thanks to our parent community perfectly: “Hats off to an amazing group of parents who have helped the Latham community immensely, especially through the past year and a half.”

Since March 2020, we have had to make tremendous adjustments during a time of fear and uncertainty. Throughout this time, we have had the unwavering support of our parent community. As we implemented changes in our programs to ensure the safety of students, residents, and staff, our parent group has been encouraging and understanding – and especially appreciative of our staff. (Staff and students alike LOVED the many donations of games and supplies!)

Parents’ Day has given us the opportunity to let our parent community know how grateful we are for their trust, generosity, and support. Thank you for being a part of Latham and for sharing your remarkable children with us!
