TIP of the WEEK: Sensory Easter Baskets

EasterWith yet another food holiday right around the corner here is a list of non-food and sensory friendly items to put in your child’s Easter basket. Please be mindful of choking hazards if your child is very young or has a history of eating non food items.
All of these things are excellent for the sensory seeking child:
Silly putty
Glow sticks
Zipper ties
Play doh
Bubbles
Ear plugs or ear buds
Stress balls
itunes cards
Slinky
Snap bracelets
Lip chap or lip gloss
Hand lotion
Eye masks
Scratch and sniff stickers
The list could go on and on. Our kids can celebrate the holidays and have some tools that will help them relax and have fun at the same time.
