Tip of the Week: Summer Vacation

Keeping a routine and clear expectations will make for a successful and less stressful summer vacation. Changing from the tight and predictable nature of a school schedule to the unstructured environment of summer vacation can cause increased anxiety in your child. Create a daily and weekly routine and hang it on the wall. The weeks don’t have to be the same, just created ahead of time so your child knows what to expect.
