Tip of the week: Emergency Preparedness
July 26, 2019
With the highly unusual tornado hit on Cape Cod this week, I wanted to take this time to remind everyone of the need for emergency preparedness.
Designate a spot in your home to wait out the storm, and along with maintaining the usual storm supplies such as food, water, flashlights, etc., be sure to have comfort supplies for your child. Having sensory items, toys and crafts, games, extra stuffed animals, and puzzles can make waiting out the storm easier and less anxiety-provoking.
