Thank you, Cape Cod St. Patrick’s Parade Committee!

If you missed Latham’s float in the epic 2-mile Cape Cod Saint Patrick’s Parade last week, take a walk with us along Route 28 through this two-minute video.

Staff, students, adult residents, and a board member were bolstered by an energetic crowd of more than 10,000 people who joined in the fun despite the rain. We handed out more than 100 Latham scarves (they went FAST!), danced to the music of the band in front of us, and celebrated “Shamrocks & Shenanigans” with hopes that the rain would stop. (No luck there!)

Latham Centers really felt the love from our community along the way! Sincere thanks to the volunteer parade organizers. Don’t miss their Facebook posts (nearly 6K followers strong) — Cape Cod St. Patrick’s Parade | Facebook. They posted a terrific video featuring our “Lucky To Be At Latham” float showing one of our students tossing a scarf to grateful parade-watchers. Smiles all around! (The video was posted yesterday – March 17th – Saint Patrick’s Day)
