Students and staff at Latham Centers were thrilled with the outcome and excitement of last night’s game! Not all students at Latham Centers love to watch football, nor do all students love the Patriots, however, everyone came together for this electrifying day. With the Patriots rough start tensions were high, but by the end of the fourth quarter, celebrations were had. As the Patriots fought back from a 25 point deficit, everyone could feel the pure joy in the room.
The day started well before 6:30 pm at Latham Centers. To start the morning, students participated in a Sprit Contest. They were encouraged to decorate their suite and create a Suite Cheer. At 1 pm students gathered on the field for a friendly flag football game, where all participants received a medal.  For dinner, Chef Paul’s team put together a fun, tailgate-style meal. The kitchen presented a BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich with two choices of condiments, Fritos for some fun finger food and pasta salad. Students had a special treat of Gatorade as opposed to their typical milk, water, or mint-water. To top it all off, students dined on Cherry Jell-O with Whipped Cream and Rainbow Sprinkles for dessert.
