Sunny campus memory on a rain-soaked day
November 13, 2018
On this rainy, cold day on Cape Cod, we’d like to share a sunny, warm campus memory from this past summer. Our Facilities Team arranged for the installation of new artificial turf inside the walking track, beautifying Big John’s Play Field* and providing a wonderful surface for recreation and fun. The photos of the students’ first slip-n-slide at the end of June say it all… (Anyone else dreaming of summer? Thank you to Clinical Director Brynn Cooper and Facilities Director Brian Benevides for the photos!)
*Big John’s Play Field was named after John Harrington, a trustee of the Yawkey Foundation and past CEO of the Boston Red Sox. The generosity of the Yawkey Foundation has shaped and supported Latham School since 2001. Our Yawkey Dormitory bears the name of the Foundation in recognition of their grant which made the construction of the dormitory possible.
