SummerTide students feed the butterflies at the Natural History Museum

Our students have amazing opportunities over the summer months in our coveted SummerTide program, including visits to the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History in Brewster.

Special Education Teacher Jeff Lee said in an email about their recent butterfly visit at the museum: “I wanted to thank everyone who assisted in making the first science outing of the summer super successful. The students had a blast having the opportunity to feed the butterflies at the Museum of Natural History. The students will be learning about the ever-changing coastline that is the National Seashore when they visit the Salt Pond Visitor Center in Eastham soon. Hope everyone has a great day and an AMAZING week!!

Thank you, Jeff! It’s clear how much our Latham students enjoy these fantastic outings. We’ll highlight more fun and engaging excursions on our blog and social media over the next few weeks.
