SummerTide: Part 1

Recently, when giving a tour, Katrina Fryklund asked students on campus their favorite thing about Latham Centers; the majority said “SUMMERTIDE!” SummerTide is a field-trip based extended school year program which allows our students to get out in the community, learn about Cape Cod, and focus on fun outdoors activities. Students break up in groups and staff take them on outings which include but are not limited to the Pleasant Bay Area and the Audobon in Wellfleet. Students also invite visitors to campus, who bring fun activities with them. In the first slideshow, you’ll see much concentration in the faces of our Latham learners. We are so proud of them for their SummerTide accomplishments, and are eager to show you more photos in the upcoming weeks.
