On Friday, October 7th, 2016 Staff, Board Members, Donors and many state politicians attended the new 22-student dormitory open house on Latham Centers’ Main Campus. Members of USDA, and state politicians Randy Hunt, Sarah Peake, and Tim Whelan raved about the new building; as did parents, community members and others involved throughout the entire building process. At 10:30am members of USDA formally presented Latham Centers with a $3M check to help in the building process.
Living Rooms looked comfortable and lived-in, and bedrooms looked neat and organized. The Kitchen Crew catered the entire event with delicious mini-quiches and squash bread, while Café Al Fresco donated coffee.
On behalf of the Board, Staff and Students, we thank the USDA for their generous loan, Café Al Fresco for their coffee donation, and State Politicians for their endless support.
