Students’ Summer Bucket Lists

Our students are gearing up for summer, and each is looking forward to different aspects. The Long Pond Classroom, led by Teacher Sadie, worked on a project where the students were tasked with creating their Summer Bucket List. Where do they want to explore? What do they want to do? While this project was fun because it enabled the students to think towards the future and the warmth of the summer, Mike also challenged the students to consider what is feasible versus what is a reach.

 Kassandra wants to, “go swimming everywhere,” while Sadie wants to, “sing at Open Mic and go deep sea fishing.” Jose wants to, “learn the guitar and rollerblade.”
