Staff Spotlight: Trish Morgan named Latham Supervisor of the Quarter

Residential Manager Patricia Morgan has been recognized as Latham Centers’ Supervisor of the Quarter. Trish received multiple nominations for the award, all touting her commitment to the residents and staff at the Peter Cooper home – and the exceptional support she consistently provides to her manager colleagues. Excerpts from her nominations follow:
“Trish goes above and beyond to help her co-workers and to keep her home running smoothly. When a manager needs help, Trish is one of the first managers to offer assistance. When I have called to ask questions – even when picking up her phone when she is “off” shift – she is always willing to help. Trish is a great listener and sometimes we all just need someone to listen. I have also heard good things about Trish from staff who have worked with her; she explains things well, she is respectful, and she is someone they trust…”
“Patricia always assists with additional Latham events such as holidays, coordinating van runs, and helping other managers in coordinating audit teams to ensure Latham is successful in its DDS surveys. Trish has taken on many additional duties in a short period of time to support her team, the clients, and Latham, and I’m thankful to work with her in Adult Services!”
In presenting the Supervisor of the Quarter Award, Adult Services Assistant Director Ben Mundy said, “Patricia Morgan was nominated and recognized as Supervisor of the Quarter for a myriad of reasons. Her passion and dedication are exemplified by her tireless efforts to keep staff and clients active and engaged, not only in the program, but in their community as well. She works closely with her peers to improve the services that we offer. She is a bold advocate for the individuals in our program and a dependable support for her peers. Our program would not be the same without her, and we consider ourselves very fortunate to call her our colleague.”
