Staff Spotlight: Meet Margaret French-Beltis, Latham’s new CFO

We’re pleased to introduce our new Chief Financial Officer, Margaret French-Beltis (Maggie). Latham’s new CFO has returned to the world of non-profit financial management after developing a successful career through a financial consultancy and professional/personal development coaching business. Previously, Maggie served as CFO at the Visiting Nurse Association of Cape Cod after a decade-long financial career in manufacturing.

Maggie joins Latham’s senior management team including President and CEO Anne McManus, VP of Operations Lee Chamberlain, and VP of Organizational Development Craig Anderson. Maggie commended the strong fiscal leadership of Latham’s recently retired CFO Patricia Hallahan and wished her much joy as she moves into her new chapter. In Maggie’s

new role, she looks forward to quickly carrying her weight as a contributing member of our organization. “I am so impressed by the commitment of the Latham community in providing those we serve with care, integrity, and delight,” she said. “I see my skills as a coach, and experience in the financial arena, enabling me to facilitate results that fuel teamwork and forward objectives that make a difference.”

When she’s not immersed in the world of balance sheets and budgets, among other things, Maggie spends time with her husband Jerry, enjoying the home they have created in Harwich, or with her 91-year-old father who continually shows her that age is simply a number. She gardens, cooks, and absolutely loves movies.

Maggie is excited about getting to know our students, our adult residents, our staff, and all the members of the extended Latham community. Welcome, Maggie!
