Spirited Latham students and staff enjoy Brewster in Bloom Parade
May 8, 2018
Our students once again participated in the Brewster in Bloom Parade which made its way down Main Street past the Latham School campus on Sunday. The parade theme was “Clamoring for Clams!” Several students created pieces to decorate the Latham float, from painted clam shells to nautical pictures. Our banner, “The world is your clam, and you are the pearl,” was made by staff with the help of some of our students. Students on the float led the cheer: “Latham Hawks! Latham Rocks!” while students walking beside the float held signs: “Happy as a Clam at Latham!”
Brewster in Bloom was a wonderful community event enjoyed by all – thank you to the Brewster Chamber of Commerce and volunteers for this fantastic annual 3-day festival.
