‘Shop ‘til you drop’

The students at Latham Centers take on the school store! At their school store, students had multiple choices to shop from, including body oils, toys, and even slippers. Not only can students shop, but School Store Employee is a certified Latham Works vocational position, where students learn the ropes of retail work. Students can apply to either be a cashier or help guide students throughout the store as they look at items. Latham student Daniel states, “The Latham School Store is a good way for students to get stuff that they want from earning money.” Laura Heilmann, Career Services Manager, noted, “Our students work so hard, and the school store is a great way for our staff to give back and create an exciting experience!”
