Residents create cards for military on MLK Day

Residents at Peter Cooper enjoyed making cards of appreciation for service men and women on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day last week. In the words of Adult Services Case Manager Debra Anderson, “Their “day off” become a “day on”!” These beautifully decorated cards were sent to an organization called A MILLION THANKS. (A Million Thanks supports active, reserve, and veteran military by sending letters of thanks and encouragement directly to service members).

We’re grateful to Debra for sharing this program highlight, and for reminding us that thoughtfulness and generosity at Latham Centers is felt near and far.
