Principal’s Corner: February Goings-On
Curious about how our students spend February on Campus? As the weather gets more extreme, and snow flurries turn into blizzards, it’s of the utmost importance that our students stay entertained and focused.
World renowned PWS doctors, Dr. Forrester and Dr. Gourash came to campus on February 2nd and 3rd to meet with our students and learn about our newest programs. They also did a fantastic PWS Informational Session for all staff to teach the new and experienced tips for working with our clients.
Sunday February 7th marked the Special Olympics Basketball Tournament and tonight, February 10th marks our Restaurant Night for Valentine’s Day! During this meal, students are served on white linen table-clothes by staff! To learn more about the menu, click here.
On Tuesday, February 9th students met at our regular Community Meeting. Finally, February 15th marks the start of school break. This means that our residential staff will be in full force working with the students throughout the week. Students will take part in arts and crafts, physical fitness, and vocational learning experiences. Students of course will have some down time!
