Today we had to say good-bye to our three summer interns, Michaela, Josie, and Tess, as they head back to college for the fall! During the summer, Latham employs three interns to work in the school house to assist the educational team in a variety of areas. This year our interns worked as one-to-one counselors and as aides in the classrooms. The interns also experienced a new schedule this summer including a curriculum in which they worked to align the Common Core and State Standards in an effort to consolidate information for our teachers. They also created an extremely creative staff bulletin board in our break room.

We wish, Michaela, Josie, and Tess, the best of luck as the embark on their senior year of college and hope to see them back on campus soon! Thank you three for all of your hard work and dedication to our students.
