Peter Cooper Pride: Congratulations to our flag football players

Staff at Peter Cooper shared some fantastic Special Olympics flag football news: The Greater New Bedford Whalers (which includes Eric, Matthew, and Dalton) went undefeated in the qualifying round in order to compete for States (to be held in November). It was a spectacular day on Sunday, October 14th at Harvard University’s Football Stadium. In the qualifying tournament, Eric put great pressure on the opposing teams’ quarterbacks while Matthew and Dalton made some great catches that led to touchdowns. CONGRATULATIONS, GREATER NEW BEDFORD WHALERS, and best of luck at next month’s Special Olympics Massachusetts Fall Tournament!
