Peter Cooper adult residents participate in Special Olympics Polar Plunge

Residents from the Peter Cooper house in Wareham participated in the 2018 Special Olympics Polar Plunge last month at Fort Tabor in New Bedford. The residents have been competing on the Greater New Bedford Special Olympics teams for about three years. They wrapped up basketball earlier this month and are now moving onto swimming and volleyball. Each of our residents raised almost $100 in sponsorships for the March 24th Polar Plunge — all funds raised go to Special Olympics programming.
