Performing Arts on Campus: New Instruments because of Grant Funding!

2016-2017 is shaping up to be an exciting year for Performing Arts here at Latham Centers! Thanks to generous grants from the Brabson and Morgan Foundations, Latham students now have ample musical instruments at their fingertips. The year will be full of musical exploration using glockenspiels, metallophones, djembes, xylophones, boomwhackers, ukuleles, and many more. The grant has also covered many violins, guitars, and keyboards—enabling us to pilot a private lesson program!

During the year, we will continue to highlight our hard work and progress with numerous concerts, including the Holiday Concert, Spring Concert, and End of Year Celebration. In the spring of 2016, we held our first “Latham’s Got Talent” talent show to rave reviews. Staff and students alike are counting down the days until the 2^nd Annual Latham’s Got Talent, coming in the Spring of 2017!
