Patrice Carroll to serve as chair of Prader-Willi Syndrome: A Bright Future conference

PWS CONFERENCE SPEAKER HIGHLIGHT: We’re excited to announce that Patrice Carroll, LCSW, Director of PWS Services at Latham Centers, will serve as Conference Chair at Prader-Willi Syndrome: A Bright Futureon June 1st. Patrice will be a speaker atthe day-long conference in Connecticut hosted by Latham Centers and the Mac Pact. The conference provides an opportunity for PWS families, specialists, and providers to connect. Patrice has worked extensively with individuals with PWS for more than 18 years, serving as a consultant internationally. At Latham Centers, she works with Latham Centers’ staff and residents to provide the best quality of care, and she writes a PWS “Tip of the Week” on our blog. Patrice looks forward to chairing this conference and meeting participants during the networking events and educational sessions.
“Working with families of children diagnosed with PWS has been one of the greatest honors of my career. The strength and love that these families have is awe-inspiring, and it has been a privilege to be a part of their journey,” Patrice said. “This conference will be an opportunity for all of us to come together to celebrate the successes and brainstorm the yet unanswered. I encourage everyone to come to seek help, join and support this unique community, and help us unite for the continued growth of our amazing kids!”

More about Patrice:
Patrice received her MSW from Simmons College in Boston. She is the co-chair of the PWSA(USA) Professional Providers Board of Directors, as well as the United States delegate for IPWSO. Patrice is a co-author of the book Living Healthy with Prader-Willi Syndrome. In addition to her experience with developing person-centered vocational programming for people with PWS, she shares her expertise at conferences and workshops locally, regionally, and internationally.
