Much appreciated interdenominational services continue at Latham

On the third Tuesday of every month, Latham Centers holds an interdenominational service for students who wish to attend. These services were the brain-child of Brooke Eaton-Skea, who was once a member of our clinical team and continues to be a dear friend of Latham. Since that time, we have been very fortunate to have the leadership of a past Latham Board Chair, Deb Cobb, who runs and manages these monthly services. She is supported by Latham staff, particularly Holly Hanlon, one of our residential supervisors. We currently have participants from the Episcopal, Methodist, local synagogue, Catholic, and Unitarian traditions. Each group brings their traditions and each has been so receptive to sharing with our students.

Last week, a large group from the United Unitarian Meeting House of Provincetown led by Rev. Kate Wilkinson guided us in singing, reflections, and sharing. Their musical director Kurt Reynolds played his harp during the service and it provided moments of peace, beauty, and calm for all of us. We are truly grateful!
