Marconi Classroom wins 2018 Latham Safari Art contest

Latham students transformed their classrooms into festive jungles for Monday’s Safari Art Show.  The day of events included time for students to finish their creative artwork; a special cookout; and noontime judging. Staff members were invited to visit the Latham School classrooms to view the jungle art and rank their top-three picks. The project exceeded all expectations, and the winning Marconi Classroom not only decorated their door and an entire sensory room filled with handmade creatures of the jungle, they also added an element of jungle sounds. (Watch the video clip below for the full audio–visual presentation). The Nauset Classroom won second place, and the Rock Harbor Classroom won third place.  Day Supervisor Kristi Dolbec noted, “It was a tough competition! Congratulations to all – the classrooms looked fantastic!”
