Latham students celebrate in honor of the Red Sox BIG win

Latham School celebrated the Red Sox advancing to the ALCS by having a fun baseball themed academic day! Students completed projects such as “Create Your Own Baseball Team” and had an opportunity to watch Brain Pop videos about the history of baseball and a documentary on Jackie Robinson. Students also got to enjoy a special baseball snack of popcorn at the end of the school day. Staff also were involved, sporting the Red Sox colors and getting creative with their curriculums. The Rock Harbor Classroom had the opportunity to play a baseball themed jeopardy game, as well as partake in an art contest! The Latham School students and staff (even some from other states!!!) are looking forward to rooting on the Red Sox as they take on the Astros next.
