Latham Director of Development Gerry Desautels receives CFRE accreditation

Desautels, one of only 4,606 CFRE professionals in the US

Gerry Desautels of West Yarmouth recently received certification from CFRE International as a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE). Desautels is the Director of Development for Latham Centers on Cape Cod–helping children and adults with complex special needs lead abundant and fulfilling lives.

Desautels also serves as Co-Marketing Chair of Philanthropy Day on Cape Cod and is a member of the Education Committee of the Cape Cod Museum of Art and Philanthropy Partners of the Cape and Islands. He holds graduate and undergraduate degrees from Boston University.

The CFRE Program is a voluntary certification process for fundraising professionals who demonstrate the knowledge, skills and commitment to the highest standards of ethical and professional practice in serving the philanthropic sector.
Currently, there are only 4,606 CFRE professionals in the United States.
