Latham Centers’ First Annual Pop-Up Store a Success!

Many of the adults in the Latham Center’s residential program are extremely talented. Their works-of-art range from knitted wear, to recycled goods turned into beautiful items, to jewelry. While annually the students have hosted a Holiday Craft Fair, 2015 marks the first year for the adults to host a similar show. It is a fun and innovative business idea that allowed for our most creative adult residents to sell their goods while being a presence in the community.

The Pop-Up Boutique was hosted by Latham Adult Artisans and took place at the Orleans Latham Centers Business office. The Artisans created the plethora of designs. Some favorites were pens shaped like tulips and made from colored duct tape! Other favorites were colorful and soft scarves and beaded jewelry fit for queens!
