July Staff of the Month: Hanna and Kevin are supportive and innovative!

Our students and staff participate in a monthly community meeting highlighting both staff and student accolades. In the past, we’ve shared some incredible student successes, like when Joselyn won multiple awards. This July, we recognized multiple staff who were truly deserving of Staff of the Month and were nominated by their colleagues on campus. Today, we highlight Job Coach Kevin Cole and Residential Counselor Hanna Genell.

Kevin Cole, Job Coach

Laura Heilmann, Career Services Manager, said: As a Job Coach, Kevin Cole is an integral part of the vocational team. His dedication to helping Latham students reach their full potential is evident in every project he works on, large or small. Not only that, but his flexibility and concern for others means he is a huge help across every shift and department. We are so lucky to have Kevin, and I hope he knows he is more than deserving of this recognition!

Hanna Genell, Residential Counselor

Melissa Soares, Director of Residential Services, said: Hanna is a calm and relaxing presence for all students and staff during the residential times. She is always ready to have fun with the kids and creates new activities.
