It’s National Nurses Week: THANK YOU to Latham’s Nursing Staff!

We’re celebrating National Nurses Week (May 6th-12th) with this public shout-out to our nursing staff here at Latham Centers. “Nurses are heroes; compassion is their superpower!”
We truly appreciate the TLC provided by our Children’s Services and Adult Services Programs’ Nursing teams! Our nurses and med assistants have such an important role in supporting students’ and residents’ health and wellness needs. One of our nurses who has been with Latham for six years said that back when job-searching, she was looking for a career that would give her a reason as to why she became a nurse. “Then I found Latham Centers. There are so many rewards working with the staff and our program participants.”
Thank you to our nursing staff for going above and beyond, providing the very best care for the children and adults who call Latham home. Special thanks to Director of Nursing Bonnie White and Adult Services Nursing Manager Shanna Cipro for the leadership and guidance you have provided to our Latham Community — day and night during the past two months. You and your teams are so greatly appreciated by our entire staff and our students, residents, and their families (now more than ever)!
