In the words of our mascot: “We are A LOT of fun!”

Three of our cherished Latham Hawks created quite a buzz about Latham Centers on Willow Street yesterday!  Enthusiastic Latham mascots served as greeters at our first-ever Job Fair outside Latham’s offices at 259 Willow Street in Yarmouth Port, and we met some fantastic job candidates!

Video clips of Children’s Program Supervisors Rob and Patti are priceless! Patti (Assistant Residential Director) said she loves spreading the word about Team Latham. “We are A LOT of fun!” she said after spending hours waving and flying around in her very warm blue hawk suit. She is so right – our staff will stop at nothing to help brighten the lives of the children and adults we serve, and to share their passion about the work we do.

Orchestration of the Job Fair included many people in addition to our Human Resources/Recruiting Team.  Sincere thanks go out to:

• Our Latham Hawks (Job Fair greeters exceeded all expectations!)

• Maintenance (we have the best crew around!)

• CCB-Media (their radio and digital advertising efforts are bringing great job candidates to us!)

• Fleeting Moments Photography (thanks, Denise, for the spontaneous mini-photo-shoot!)

• And a task force of committed staffers working with HR behind-the-scenes to get creative with our recruitment outreach – well done!

Thank you all for the community and camaraderie – people waved, honked, and cheered all day long. It was the perfect day to spread the word about the work we do, the individuals we serve, and the qualities that make people a great fit with Latham Centers’ diverse team of more than 260 employees.
