Image of the Week: New Latham group residences near completion!

Our Adult Services Program has some great news to share:  Latham’s new Wareham and Sandwich group residences are coming along beautifully and will soon be ready for move-in! Team members met for a walkthrough and planning session recently (pictured above outside the Wareham home; you can’t see their expressions under their masks, but they are all thrilled to be nearing completion of construction!) These homes were designed based on the needs of our aging and mobility-compromised population, and they will replace two Latham group residences in Yarmouth.

Director of Adult Services Gina Sheehan said her program is looking forward to celebrating all that has gone right, and all who have helped make this “Headwaters Replacement Project” vision a reality. “The new properties are meant to assist people in the process of growth and aging in the most comfortable way possible. Growing and aging are human conditions – the longer we all live and grow, the longer we have to tap into creativity and happiness we bring to our own lives and the people around us.  Latham has a very special opportunity to be involved in people’s care throughout the life span. Our Adult Program couldn’t be more honored to participate in this endeavor!”
