Honoring Latham supporter Mark Burgess: 25 years of riding the Last Gasp!

2021 marked Latham Centers’ sixth year as a beneficiary charity for “The Gasp” bike, bake, and boat fundraiser. While the ride has taken place virtually for the past two years due to the pandemic, Team Latham has continued to participate, raising funds to support Latham’s capital campaign for our Campus Expansion Project. This year, staff members Dawn Dinnan (and her daughter Carly), Heather Kelsey, Anne McManus, Nicole Thompson, and Eri Takahashi joined Board members Chris Gillstrom and Jo-Ellen Erickson for the virtual event. Mark Burgess, owner of Shorefront Consulting and a long-time friend and corporate sponsor of Latham, rounded out the team. The 2021 Virtual Ride was Mark’s 25th consecutive year riding The Gasp! The team celebrated Mark’s remarkable milestone ride at our Night Of Gratitude Dinner on December 3rd. Heather Kelsey, Director of Advancement, presented Mark with a plaque commemorating his 25th ride.

Team Latham riders raised over $11,000 in the 2021 Virtual Gasp!  Latham Centers would like to thank and congratulate all of our riders and donors.

Plaque Inscription:“With Our Greatest Appreciation to Mark Burgess—In gratitude for your support of Latham Centers and in recognition of 25 years riding The Last Gasp, Bike, Boat, and Bake fundraiser”
