The little Elves at the Hazelmoor Road Residence have been busy gearing up for the Holiday season. We have a lot to be thankful for this year as we prepare for numerous parties and festivities around our Cape Cod community. The residents are looking forward to visiting the Cape Codder Resort to enjoy their fabulous light display and visit with Santa.
However, this isn’t a magical time of year for everyone and it’s easy to forget that the holidays are not all candy canes and carols. This month we are sending a Christmas card to a little girl who lost her family in a tragic fire. Her only Christmas wish is that people send her cards for her Christmas tree. The residents are going to extend their warm hearts by putting a smile on this little girl’s face. It is important that we all take a moment out of our busy lives to realize everything there is to be thankful for, and try and give back to those less fortunate.
