Ho Ho Holiday Extravaganza featured original dancing and appearance by Santa

On Wednesday, December 21st, the friends, family, and students of Latham Centers gathered together at the Brewster Baptist Church for a fun and festive Holiday Extravaganza. The students’ performance, led by Performing Arts Instructor Gabrielle Siani, was the main attraction for the guests, however for the students, it was Santa.

Performance highlights included Original Dancing from Ann, a Dreidel Dreidel Dreidel duet by Sequoia and Joselyn, a Holiday Reading from Chris, and many other impressive group performances of traditional favorites.

Santa then came bursting through the concert hall doors and handed out gifts to every student at Latham Centers. Grant said, “I think he got me joke books because I’m a really funny guy,” Serenity said, “Oh my gosh. He got me Unicorn Headphones,” and Homer jumped for joy after opening his craft supplies.

The LathamWorks vocational team contributed beautifully crafted items for families to take home, including ornaments and soaps. In Vocational Class, each student had created impressive shell trays with their own smiling faces, which were proudly on display.

As staff were leaving, everyone discussed how the entire day was so thoughtfully planned, giving deserved kudos to Gabrielle, who flawlessly organized her first Holiday Concert. From the staff and the students to everyone in our Latham family, Happy Holidays!
