Goodbye and thanks to our Cape League baseball players

As the summer winds down, we had to say goodbye to our two Brewster Whitecaps ballplayers who helped our Facilities Department this season. The Whitecaps are part of the Cape Cod Baseball League, the premier amateur baseball league in the United States since 1885. Whitecaps team members who worked for Latham Centers as landscapers this year were Justin Vought from Larksville, Pennsylvania – a catcher for the University of Maryland (pictured right); and Sean Fisher from Parsonsburg, Maryland – a pitcher at the University of Maryland (pictured left).

Justin and Sean were a great help meeting our landscape needs, keeping our properties in great shape – including our Brewster Campus, Simpkins residence, and Campus Expansion Site (Training Center). It is always fun having the Brewster Whitecaps players for the baseball season, and we appreciate all they have done for us. We wish them both much success!
