Giving Tuesday is one week away… thank you for supporting Latham in this season of giving and all year long

#GivingTuesday is a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration. Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving (in the U.S.) and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving.

On Giving Tuesday, we’ll share a moving story about one of our students and the impact that Latham Centers has had on him and his family. We invite you to join the #Giving Tuesday movement by including Latham Centers in your end-of-year giving. Our first 15 #GivingTuesday donors will receive a special handmade gift (created by our students and adult residents) and a handwritten thank you note – watch for the online link in our November 28th blog.

Beyond #Giving Tuesday, Latham Centers relies on community support in many ways. Here are just a few:

Live to Thrive:  Our monthly giving club. Smaller monthly gifts (think of your weekly coffee budget) add up to a large, impactful, tax-deductible gift at year’s end.

Honorary Gifts: Gifts in honor of a Latham staff member, family member, or Board member. Show your appreciation or gratitude by making a tribute gift of any size.

Gifts for Programs: Make a gift in support of a specific Latham program — Children’s Services, Adult Services, Donkey Therapy, Performing Arts, Special Olympics, Vocational Programs…

Amazon Smile: Shopping online at AmazonSmile is a simple and automatic way for you to support Latham Centers every time you make an online purchase – at no cost to you. When you shop at https://smile.amazon.com, AmazonSmile will donate 0.5% of the purchase price to Latham Centers! Simply select Latham Centers, Inc. as your charity of choice.
