Danny Anderson named Supervisor of the Quarter

Two of our outstanding supervisory team members have each been honored as Latham Centers’ “Supervisor of the Quarter.” Daniel (Danny) Anderson, Residential Supervisor in our Children’s Program, was presented with the award last week.  (Tomorrow we’ll announce the second Supervisor of the Quarter – a member of our Adult Services team.)

At the award presentation, senior managers and directors expressed their congratulations and appreciation. Lee Chamberlain began, “Danny, you have done an amazing job, we are all very grateful, and we will use some of your ideas in other areas. You have set the tone, you have risen to every occasion, and we’re really proud to have you among our staff.” Anne McManus added, “You have done a really outstanding job, and everyone has noticed your efforts.” Gerry Pouliot added, “Danny was nominated for this award by every single department in our Children’s Program – it was across the board, at all levels.”

A member of the supervisory team stated in her nomination, “Danny is amazing. In the short time he has been in his position, he has transformed his suite for the better… a new staff member can come into his suite and feel prepared to run it with little to no questions – great job, Danny, we are lucky to have you!” Another colleague wrote, “Danny is so supportive to his weekend staff and works with them seamlessly. If they are dealing with a difficult situation, he is right there to help… Danny shows respect for both the student and the staff, he listens with an ear to solving the problem… he is an asset to Latham!”  And a longtime management team member noted, “It’s apparent that the system Danny uses has become a lesson for us all… His patience with the kids has had great results – the kids are thriving!”

Thank you and congratulations, Danny!
