Celebrating Community at the Seaside Festival

Latham Centers’ two-day craft table at the Yarmouth Seaside Festival was fantastic, with hundreds stopping by with messages of appreciation and support. Latham students and residents, family members, employees present and past, and friends from all over visited us on Saturday and Sunday. Folks were especially drawn to our student-made soaps, and we connected with many colleagues in the special education and human services fields from all over the Cape and New England – and as far away as Arizona! 

Thanks to staff from our Children’s and Adult Services Programs, Human Resources/Organizational Development, Maintenance, and Administration for helping with the arts and crafts fair. We couldn’t have done it without Career Services Manager Laura Heilmann from our Children’s Program! She was there from beginning to end, supporting Latham Centers’ students, our mission, and our outreach. 

The weekend event was an incredible celebration of COMMUNITY! We are grateful to the Seaside Festival volunteers who donate countless hours to make the Seaside Festival happen every October.
