ADDP’s social media event brings providers together

Latham Centers is grateful to the Association of Developmental Disabilities Providers (ADDP) for hosting a fantastic social media workshop earlier this month for its members. With expert guidance from Jess Silva-Hodges of Melwood Global, the two-part workshop included an Introduction to Social Media, “Why and How to use Social Platforms” and Advanced Social Media, Take your Organization’s Social Media to the Next Level” Several ADDP member organizations traveled to Framingham from throughout Massachusetts for this event on February 7th. It was an excellent opportunity to learn from an expert in the field and to share ideas with colleagues from other organizations serving individuals with disabilities (“#uniqueabilities” was a hashtag shared by one social media-savvy attendee).  We join other providers in attendance who strive to utilize social media to share our organization’s good news – informing and inspiring others by highlighting the good work we do.
