A time to celebrate and show our gratitude: Thanksgiving on Campus
December 6, 2021
Holidays are always fun on the Latham Centers campus; we all enjoy the organized yet fun shift away from the routine. On Thanksgiving Thursday, students participated in fun residential activities including Turkey Crafts and Turkey Photoshoots with our very own Latham Turkey. They also decorated their suites and took part in a special meal: turkey, stuffing, green beans, cranberry sauce, and apple pie for dessert. Staff were dressed to impress in turkey hats!
Take a look at our amazing kitchen crew and students in this video. While some students went home to celebrate with their families, the majority stayed on campus for our festivities, and our clinical team facilitated over 20 Zoom calls. What an amazing day with grateful students and fun-loving, dedicated staff.
As Thanksgiving is a day of gratitude, we also want to highlight something one of our parents said about Latham staff: “When we think about all the things we are grateful for, you are at the top of our list. We feel blessed that our child is in such good hands while he is away from home… It is knowing special people like yourselves that show us everyday how lucky we really are.”
