Latham Centers 15th Annual Golf Classic

Thank You!
Who’s still reveling in the amazing day out on the Ocean Edge course and that incredible dinner from this year’s Latham Golf Classic? It was truly a day to remember — filled with sunshine, laughter, and a shared commitment to supporting the individuals who call Latham Centers home.
We were thrilled to have a full house for our evening banquet, thanks in large part to our honoree, Luciano Canova. Mr. Canova’s ongoing support of his daughter, Tina, and of Latham Centers was inspiring to see. The Latham community — and the broader PWS community worldwide — is so fortunate to have his advocacy and generosity.
Thanks to the enthusiasm and support of our golfers, dinner guests, sponsors, and volunteers, this year’s Golf Classic raised over $130,000! These funds have an immediate and lasting impact on the lives of our students and adult residents. Here’s just some of what the event helped to support:
Vocational programs and Community Volunteers that promote confidence, self-worth, and independence.
Therapeutic opportunities including art, music, and animal-assisted therapies.
Community engagement allowing our residents and staff to participate in local events such as Brewster in Bloom, the St. Patrick’s Day Parade, beach cleanups, and PWS awareness efforts.
The Latham Hawks who continue to shine in Special Olympics events — kicking, throwing, cheering, and dribbling their way to success!
Assistive technology to help students and adults build independence and agency.
Latham’s Adult Program, as we prepare for our next capital campaign to meet the evolving needs of our aging residents and ensure each individual continues to live a dignified, high-quality life.
We are so thankful to everyone who helped make this event such a success — our sponsors, donors, players, dinner guests, and volunteers. Your generosity and commitment to Latham’s mission make all the difference.
We can’t wait to see everyone back on the course for our 16th Annual Latham Golf Classic next year!
