TIP of the WEEK: Staying Connected
July 15, 2016
As I am preparing to attend the international conference in Toronto next week I want to encourage everyone to stay active in the PWS community. Whether you are the parent of a newborn or of an older child or adult, get and stay involved. Every age brings new challenges and celebrations and your experience is invaluable to those who have not yet gotten there.
If you can’t attend a conference then attend a local chapter meeting, get involved in the many social media options or simply pick up the phone and call another parent. Staying connected will get you through the hard time and enable you to give back to those struggling with things that you have already been through.
